About me
My name is Stefan van Dijk. In 2024, I started my own repair service 'Sisu Repair.' Sisu Repair is named after the sailboat of my girlfriend and me, a Hallberg Rassy 42E called Sisu.
Sisu Repair specializes in repairing kites, sails, and related accessories in water sports. I learned the craft at Versus Kiteboarding in Scheveningen, where I worked for 10 years with great pleasure and still enjoy a pleasant collaboration.
Quality and service are my top priorities. I strive to keep my waiting times as short as possible so that you can usually get back on the water within two weeks, even during the peak season.
Services
Kites
In addition to repairs to your kite or wing, you can also come to me for preventive checks, damage reports, and adjusting bars and foil kites.
Sails
Besides repairing your sails, you can also come to me for replacing a UV strip, recreating your bimini, or reinforcing wear spots.
Urgent repairs
Are you on vacation or going soon? And therefore you don't have time to wait long?
I am happy to think along with you!
Depending on the repair, you might be able to walk out with your repaired gear after a cup of coffee.
Custom projects
Do you have a problem that requires a custom solution? I have experience with custom projects and would be happy to help you.
Think about a custom-fit sunscreen or an inflatable cinema screen, for example.
I also offer B2B solutions. For example, I can help with creating a prototype, small-scale productions, or correcting production errors.
Secondhand parts
I regularly receive items from owners who ultimately decide to part with them, even though they are still (partially) usable.
I can take in these used items to give them a second life. They often still have usable parts, or I can use the fabric, for example, to carry out other repairs.
This also means that in some cases, I can offer discounts on repairs with second-hand parts. Prefer new parts? Thanks to favorable purchasing agreements, I can also offer most new parts at competitive prices.
